Elk

Here is another piece done exclusively for BassPro's conservation edition, and is currently available as a paper print only. I was given 35 artist proofs. This painting depicts an actual elk harvested by Will Huppertz of Alberta Canada. Will harvested this mammoth elk with his bow, and it currently ranks number one as Canada's archery record. Special thanks to Will for the privilege of rendering his bull on canvas.
